Delete Nyumba Services Account

If you want your Nyumba Services account and associated data deleted, follow the steps below.
How to request account deletion
- Open Nyumba Services app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile → Delete Account.
- Submit the deletion request in-app.
If you cannot access the app, email us at selfawaretech@gmail.com with subject: Nyumba Services Account Deletion Request.
What data is deleted
- Account profile data (name, phone, email, avatar, provider bio/details).
- Service requests and related request metadata tied to your account.
- Messages and reports tied to your account, where permitted by system constraints.
- Provider portfolio/certificate records associated with your account profile.
What data may be retained
- Security, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance logs where retention is required by law.
- Limited transactional records required for dispute resolution and platform safety.
Standard retention period for mandatory compliance/safety records: up to 90 days after deletion request completion, unless a longer period is required by law.
Processing timeline
We aim to process deletion requests within 7 business days. Complex or legally sensitive requests may take longer.
